Oscars night was full of stars and surprises.

“Dune” was the star of the night with the most wins, including the best score and best cinematography. “CODA” bagged the best picture award after a tough competition with “The Power of the Dog,” which won the best director award.
But Oscars night was all about Will Smith and Chris Rock. Their on-stage rift turned the Oscars’ night into a wild one.
Will Smith slapped Chris Rock after he made harsh jokes about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.
While introducing the best documentary feature award, Chris Rock joked about Jada Pinkett Smith, who is suffering from alopecia and attended the event with a shaven head.
Rock said “Jada, I love you; ‘G.I. Jane 2,’ as Pinkett Smith rolled her eyes in response. However, Smith didn’t take the joke well and went to the stage to slap Rock. After coming back to his seat, Smith asked Rock to keep his wife’s name out of his mouth.
Not just Rock, but everyone was startled by this altercation. Instead of reacting, Rock wisecracked saying that was the greatest night in television history.
Smith later apologizes to the Academy and his fellow nominees during his best actor speech.
