“Snow Blood is the second book in a Vampire Mystery series, written by Carol McKibben. Having read the first one and deeply enjoying it, this one did not disappoint at all. It is a YA novel, but I tend to like those better for some reason/ I always feel as if the writing is just better. Snow Blood Season 2 had even more twists and turns than Season 1, and really kept me at the edge of my seat. It's a wild ride that you won't want to get off of. What makes this series so different is that it is told through the eyes of a dog; a concept that I don't think has ever really been done. Yes, it is a vampire novel, but It's not your typical vampire novel, or series. There is so much going on in it, you won't want to put it down for even a second. McKibben clearly has a lot of talent, and it is evident in this series. I can't wait for Season 3 to come out; I will definitely be one of the first to purchase.”

“Having gone through breast cancer I can relate to Sara and her journey back to good health. I too have had many therapy dogs and cried a good cry for all the good work Luke did at the hospital. What a moving story of love, courage, forgivness and unconditional love. This lady is truly a heart felt writer and I can't wait to read her next story. Their dog Luke is God's gift to both Sara and Ashlundt and their son Colson.”

“5-Stars. Snow Blood is not your stereotypical vampire story. First off, it is told from the perspective of the dog converted to kindred. Secondly, this is the second book. Whereas, some of the back story might be a little confusing if you have not read the first season - I have not, you can quickly piece together what is going on and the challenges the characters face. It is an interesting twist on a vampire story. Not only because of the dog perspective, but also involving the Greek mythology. I enjoyed the twists and turns and creativity of the author. If you are looking for a different vampire story that you haven't experienced before, this one is for you. Enjoy. ”

“This was such a great story. I loved it. I have a dog which I love beyond measure. When I look at him now, I wonder what, if anything, he is thinking. This a story of unconditional love, told from a dog's perspective. When I first started reading this, I thought it would be a silly story. I mean, a dog talking--has to be silly. As I read more, I was totally sucked into it. I must warn readers--this can be a real tear jerker. Keep the kleenex handy.”

“SNOW BLOOD Season 1 is a unique novel in that McKibben has elected to tell a story through the eyes, senses, and thoughts of an animal. For some authors this attempt may become uncomfortably artificial, but McKibben is so gifted at the manner in which she maintains this stance that every page of the novel is wholly credible. Add to that fact the theme of the story being the turning of non-vampires into vampires and one would think the author was up against an unscalable wall of credibility. But that is the mark of a practiced veteran: understand the stance of the perspective, keep it viable, and the story will work. And work SNOW BLOOD Season 1 most assuredly does. This is very fine, highly creative writing from an artist who knows her trade well. She will be noted. -Grady Harp”

“The book is filled with amazing twist and turns and a mixture of emotions such as suspense, excitement, mystery, romance and wonder. I found it very hard to put the book down as I was glued to the pages and mesmerized by the events in the story. Carol McKibben did and amazing job with this plot and I would highly recommend the book to anyone who would like to spend time with a wonderful book that is cleverly written. I loved the book!!! -Lillian Roberts”

“You need not be an animal lover to love this book, if you are it will tug at your heartstrings even more. Beautifully written with a lesson that every one can learn from. It seems that our lives and those around us are so full of ME, ME, ME, that we don't stop to think how push our ideals of life onto others.Unconditional love is a necessity if we are to live a genuine life and this 'tale' helps us see how we can bring this kind of love into our lives. A must read and definitely worth five stars!!”

“This is an excellent vampire novel. There are twists and turns you don't expect. I enjoyed this vampire novel more than any of the other vampire stories I have read with the exception of the original Bram Stoker's Dracula. This is a strong not to be missed! -S. Mahaffey ”

“Love Snow Blood Season 2. The saga continues from Snow Blood 1, a story of the first vampire and his family as they hold their family together against the demons determined to destroy them. This is not your typical vampire story. What makes this story so very unique is because the story is told through the eyes of Snow Blood, the beloved vampire dog. This is a story of passion, devotion, unconditional love, plus a page turner thriller. I found it very intriguing and interesting how mythology is woven in to the story. Carol McKibben’s writing keeps you on the edge of your seat and at the same time reminds us of the importance of unconditional love and the power of truthfulness to our loved ones. The character development of the vampire family, human and fur, is remarkable. My only warming is to not start the book if you have other obligations for the day because you won’t be able to stop reading. I can’t wait for Snow Blood Season 3. ”
